Horrible Hump Day! Three days before I was expecting house guests to arrive, my dishwasher gave up the ghost. I called several repair places and nobody was available before next Tuesday at the earliest. After looking at options here I sent a quote request to Top Shelf and received a reply about an hour later. They said they were available the next day at noon or Friday morning. I happily made a reservation for noon today.

John and his son showed up right on time, diagnosed and fixed the problem (crap wiring by the previous “handyman” owner who almost certainly did the washer installation himself. I’ve been finding his little “treasures” ever since I moved in. Ugh…) in about 20 minutes.

Next day service, reasonable service fees, and quick problem resolution. They will be the first place I call the next time I have an appliance issue.

John knows his stuff. Makes u feel comfortable and confident the job will be done professionally. I highly recommend him!

John is the man! He was on time, super friendly, and did a great job fixing our dishwasher and a leak with our fridge (which he didn’t know about until he came to the house). He bought the part that was needed and installed/fixed everything in about an hour. I would HIGHLY recommend John to anyone looking to get something fixed. If you like great customer service by someone who is really good at what they do, call John!!!

John (owner/operator) was terrific! He repaired my washing machine in less than an hour. For a nominal fee too.

I don’t fill out many reviews, so when I do there has to be a reason. John is that reason. He was prompt and attentive to the needs of our family. I felt safe having him in my home and will without hesitation invite him in if the need ever arrises again. His work was top notch and he explained everything that he needed to do. If you are looking for a appliance repair look no further and you will not be disappointed.

I had an excellent experience with this vendor. Very responsive to messages, professional and arrived on time. Was able to fix the problem with the parts he had with him, dryer heating element was out and I was back up and running. Would recommend this company to anyone.

On time and professional said he would be there to fix it from 1200pm to 1pm and way out the house at 1230pm. Since I work swing shift I asked how long a rebuild of my dryer would take he quoted 45 minutes and was done right on time so I could get to work, awesome job John I will recommend you to anyone that asks.

Top Shelf Services Service, John Stahfest/Owner, is nothing short of amazing. Our refrigerator broke down on a Sunday and we called around to all the big appliance repair companies who informed us they couldn’t even get out to diagnose the problem for 2 weeks.
